Dr. Rodney E. Rohde, PhD
Dr. Rodney E. Rohde, PhD is a Professor and Chair for the Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Program in the College of Health Professions at Texas State University. He serves as Associate Dean of Research and as Associate Director for the Translational Health Research Center. Dr. Rohde is a Global Fellow, Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists, and Honorary Professor of International studies. He is an ASCP board certified Specialist in Virology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology. He spent a decade as a public health microbiologist and molecular epidemiologist with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Bureau of Laboratories and Zoonosis Control Division prior to his academic career, including two terms as a CDC Visiting Scientist. His research interests include Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs), antimicrobial resistance, and clinical / public health microbiology. Dr. Rohde has published over 60 research articles and abstracts, two books, and is a highly sought keynote presenter with over 100 international, national, and state conference presentations. In recent years, he has become a globally viral author subject matter expert utilizing invited articles, TEDx talks, podcasts, video casts and interviews to enhance science communication and translational health research literacy in public health, healthcare and the medical laboratory environment.

Annette Ermshar, Ph.D., MSCP, ABPP
Annette Ermshar, Ph.D., MSCP, ABPP is a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY 18549) and Oklahoma (PSY 1326), with specialization in neuropsychology and forensic psychology. Dr. Ermshar received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Loma Linda University, an American Psychological Association (APA) Accredited Doctoral Training Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed an APA Accredited predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at Hutchings Psychiatric Hospital, a state hospital in New York. She received specialized training in Bipolar Disorder, substance abuse disorders, child/adolescent development, schizophrenia, dual diagnosis, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology. Dr. Ermshar completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology at Patton State Hospital, the largest forensic state hospital in California. She has also completed a Postdoctoral Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology at California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University. Dr. Ermshar is Board Certified in Forensic Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and is one of less than 300 ABPP Diplomates in Forensic Psychology in the United States. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology (AAFP) and a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

Dr. Kim Turner Ba Hons, MBBS, MS, AKC
Dr. Kim Turner is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Education at Keck School of Medicine at USC. She graduated from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London. She has worked as an on set medical advisor on Grey’s Anatomy, For the People, Scandal, Station 19 and Little Fires Everywhere. An OBGYN by training, she focuses on teaching and research and no longer practices clinical medicine. She is currently helping to set up an international study looking at COVID-19 infection in pregnancy and is working with various productions, large and small, in Los Angeles to help them implement the joint working paper on safely returning to work during the pandemic.
